Yogi Patel, the owner of Global Photography has BA in Photography, two master’s degrees in photography from PPA and PPC, Photographic Craftsman from PPA, PPC Fellowship, PPC Business and Arts degree and Certified Professional Photographer’s degree, which is what stands Global Photography out as your one-stop wedding photography professional. You need someone who lives, breaths and dreams photography.

Yogi also believes in continuous education; hence he belongs to various national and international photography associations, attends conventions and seminars. He also teaches at his studio and speaks at conventions and seminars, as well as donates his services and skills to various organizations. He has been honored to be a judge at many professional Photography Competitions.

Based in Southern California, Yogi has earned a great respect for his artistic photography from the Indian community. Global photography has a global appeal, as it is owned by an Indian, based in California, Yogi is sure to capture real “time” moments – contagious laughter, whether it’s a joke or a special moment in one’s speech, the love and emotion between the couple and their families, tears of joy, happiness and farewells. Yogi’s work speaks for its self, for his attention to minutest details.

As a young boy, Yogi has constantly been pursuing his dream since childhood. Back in India, at the young age of ten, he received two silver medals in International Child Art competitions and was also the recipient of the highly recognized Jawaharlal Nehru Awards – India’s highest artistic honor. Yogi got his first camera at the age of 11 years and has been capturing unique photos since then. To date Yogi has received over 150 awards both nationally and internationally, he also teaches photography, speaks at conventions and he judges professional photographic competitions. His album designs have won California wedding album of the year award 7 times.  Back in the days of film, he enjoyed developing his film and making prints in the darkroom. Now he enjoys making artistic images digitally.  His easygoing personality and calm demeanor are what attracts his clients to him and his artistic attention to his craft.

Yogi Patel of Global Photography has over 34 years of professional photography experience. He holds a BA in photography, along with two Master of Photography degrees, Photographic Craftsman, PPC Fellowship, PPC Business and Arts degree and Certified Professional Photographer’s degree.

Yogi has been honored as a Gold Medalist by the Professional Photographersof America twice in the International Photography Competition and many of his images have been selected for National and International exhibitions by PPA including the prestigious Loan Collection. His work has also been published in numerous National and International magazines.

Yogi has been passionate in his pursuit of the arts since his early childhood days in India.
