2011 International Photographic print compitation, Yogi Patel\’s all 4 print entries win awards

2011 International Photographic Print Competition

I just found out that all four of my entries won awards at the 2011 International Photographic Print Competition that was held last week by Professional Photographers of America. One of my prints titled \”Pensive\” was selected for the international traveling Loan Collection, which travels to different exhibits, will be displayed next year\’s Pro Photo Expo in January in New Orleans and will be published in the Loan Collection book. Two of my entries of which one was a wedding album titled \” Harkamal & Sudeep\’s wedding events\” will be published in the Showcase Book and the other image titled\” Timeless Beauty\” will also be published in the Showcase Book. The fourth image titled \” Two Shells Become One\” received a merit award from PPA.

Best of Wedding Album Category for 2011 Professional Photographers of California competition

This year the wedding album also was awarded Best of Wedding Album Category for the 2011 Professional Photographers of California competition. I would like to thank all my clients whose images were part of the winning entries: Reena and Dr. Bijal whose daughter\’s image titled \” Pensive\” won the Loan Collection award, Ashany\’s wedding image titled \” Timeless Beauty \” and Harkamal and Dr. Sudeep\’s wedding album won the Showcase book award and Nika and Chirag whose wedding I photographed in Tennessee titled \” Two Shell Become One\” received PPA merit award in the 2011 International Photographic competition. Following are a few pages from the album layout of Harkamal and Dr. Sudeep\’s wedding album. The alum was awarded PPA merit and was selected for Showcase Book for the 2011 International Photographic Print competition. This album also won the 2011 Best of California Wedding Album at the Professional Photographers of California competition.

 

The following image was taken in Tennessee in the middle of the day with over 100 degrees outside. The bride and groom Nika and Chirag did not care how hot it was they enjoyed the photo session in the downtown area. This image received a PPA merit award at the 2011 International Photographic Competition.
