What a beautiful wedding location to get married at with mountain views and big water falls. Sharanya and Rajeev tied the knot on August 30th and had a beautiful Bengali and Punjabi Hindu wedding. We were also fortunate to photograph the Sangeet event at Amaya. Both the families displayed their talent in a nonstop three-hour performance. I have seen Saranya perform before but there are no words to explain her talent for dancing. She is simply phenomenal. And how can I forget all that line up of the awards she won at the pageants, looked like she did not let anyone wind when she participated. Rajeev was also not a step behind when it came to dancing. All his groom\’s men rocked.
On the wedding day at Santiago Canyon Estate, I started with the bride getting ready and details shots. It is always a pleasure to work with Dolled up by Lulu who did the hair and Makeup for Sharanya. Check out some of the detail shots of their rings and jewelry. Also, the Mahendi on hands and feet was very nicely done by Rachana. I had fun photographing it in different styles. I love to get creative and give my clients something different every time. We did the first look inside the Estate where there was beautiful lighting and then created some formal images of the couple by the conference table. The staff at the Estate was very nice to work with also. Once it was time for the festivities to begin bus after bus came with guests and the rest is what you will see in the images we captured.
It is always nice to see professional vendors who make the events go smoothly. Here is a list of venders that helped:
